I forget my inspiration for signing up for this exchange. Maybe I was just excited about writing and receiving a fic well above the normal fic exchange minimum. I didn't write a letter to document what I was feeling at the time, so we will go with "I wanted to write something long."

To my surprise, I received two fics for this exchange! Making it the third in a row that I received two fics! I know this streak of good karma isn't going to last. I am grateful for it anyway. But enough about that. Let's get to the fics!

DESCRIPTION: The most surprising thing was that your twin sister came to the funeral

This is a lovely, lovely fic featuring the author's established OCs! I love that I received a fic with original characters someone has used before and cares very much about. I didn't notice until the very end that neither of these characters are named. I feel that only added to the poetry of the prose, which is written in 2nd person. This is a gentle fic that handles a lot of emotions. It's very well done.

FANDOM: Arcane League of Legends
RELATIONSHIP: Cait/Vi
DESCRIPTION: In the weeks following the destruction of the Council Chambers, three things are true. Piltover lives in suspense, wary of both the Undercity and Noxus. A case fic! I haven't seen very many of these. I started this one in the morning and couldn't finish it until after work, which was absolutely agonizing. I love it so much! My favorite parts are when Cait longs for Vi but thinks they're broken up and won't ever be a thing. And then (SPOILERS) and it was just so good! You should go and read it.

Here's the fic I wrote! I was lucky in getting this in because I could have sworn the due date was one week AFTER than what it was! Luckily I had it all written on the actual due date and uploaded the whole thing at once as I was editing.The only sad part is I no longer have it listed in my Assignments tab on AO3, so I'm likely to forget I even did this exchange years down the road (unless I remember to look for this post).

I got such a lovely response for my fic too! My recipient wrote long comments for all four chapters! I feel so loved! (And totally to toot my own horn, they bookmarked it too!)

RELATIONSHIP: Gideon Nav/Harrowhark Nonagesimus
DESCRIPTION: Gideon Nav has only ever wanted two things in her life: to get out of Drearburh by any means necessary and to find her soulmate. She got out of Drearburh (with a full ride too!), and now she needs a soulmate. Too bad the hunt for a roommate is getting in her way.
