I am so excited that you’ll be gifting me this fic, you have no idea! Hopefully all the information below made it into the prompt on AO3, and this letter exists on the off-chance that it doesn’t. I hope it’s a useful reference for you to get started on your fic-writing journey.

First, a general list of Do Not Wants. I’ll be repeating these with each prompt, but each prompt also has some that are unique to it.

I don’t ship Cam/Pal romantically but I think they are fantastic Queer Platonic Partners. That being said, I think these two deserve their own fairy tale or fairy tale retelling. Author’s choice on which fairy tale they’ll appear in! So long as Cam gets to be a Knight in Shining Armor and Pal gets to be a Damsel in Distress. Will accept anything up to an M rating. No smut for this prompt please.

I low-key ship this because I want to see them interact more in canon. Muir once said that Harrow and Cam would have been in an arranged marriage had things in canon gone differently, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. (The ultimate 69 Pairing!)

As a note, you can throw away the additional tags so long as there’s more Cam/Harrow to read at the end of the day. But here is a scenario I would absolutely love to read: Cam is a warrior/knight/bodyguard/what have you without someone to protect, and Harrow is a scholar/mage/scientist/whatever in need of protection. Cam is reeling from the loss of a previous charge, and Harrow is also reeling from the recent death of a previous protector/bodyguard. They team up, either willingly or not, and ultimately find comfort and/or healing with each other. I’m fine with this fic getting a bit steamy, but I don’t think the angst and subject matter should be shoe-horned into a General rating.

You know what would be fun? If Gideon and Ianthe are cops (or a private investigator and a cop) who are forced to work together for a gorey case. Harrow is both of their ex who is called in to help consult. No one likes each other when this starts out, and they should either bang or make it work by the end.
