I am so, so excited that you (yes you!) will be making something for me. I already know it’s going to be fabulous.

This letter is more of a guide than a manual. It’s here to give insight, provide clarification, and answer questions I cannot anticipate. If you are stuck between doing things your way and doing things my way, do the thing that feels right for the story. At the end of the day, I enjoy a quality fic more than a fic that followed my preferences to its detriment. If you still have questions, my Tumblr has anonymous turned on. :) Or you can ask the mods to pass on the question. Either will reach me!

I prefer a fic or podfic for my gift. I will accept treats of any medium!

Below the cut is further explanation of why I like each pairing. My sign up is organized in such a way that any additional tag can go with any couple in the request. I have some suggested prompts for one fandom, and it’s up to you whether you follow them or not.

General Likes/DNWs

General things I love: AUs of all sorts but especially modern AUs (coffee shop, flower shop, romcom remakes, etc.) and creative setting AUs (weird west, steampunk, space western, solarpunk, etc), complicated relationships, enemies-to-lovers, slow burn, asexual characters (or interpretations thereof) finding love, grumpy/sunshine, pining/mutual pining, arranged marriage, fake relationships, happy endings, sexless physical intimacy, femslash, adult characters adopting lost/orphaned younger characters, angst with a happy ending, angst/whump, hurt/comfort, sickfic, ostracized characters finding a family, normally strong and/or independent characters being weak/vulnerable in front of someone

Smut and kinky smut are great! If you want to write a couple thousand words of sex, I like feelings/emotions, someone learning something new about themselves, and someone learning that trusting someone can be good actually. I am cool with dubcon, A/B/O dynamics, sex pests (sex pollen, magical curses broken by sex, etc.), bondage, and kinks not listed in my DNWs. Otherwise, I don’t really have strong smutty/kink preferences so please pay attention to my DNWs.

DNWs: noncon/rape, sexual violence/sexual assault (references to prior rape/sexual violence are fine; I just don’t want it on the page), scat, pisskink, other waterworks, knifeplay that draws a lot of blood, doing something extremely graphic for shock value, underage characters having on-page sex, incest, major character death, infidelity/cheating (polyamorous characters are great tho!), mpreg, fatphobia, ace-phobia, celebrity AUs, time travel/funky time shenanigans

The Locked Tomb

This is the fandom that got me into fanfiction, and I cannot and will not tire of all the fic under its fandom umbrella. I love the complicated relationships between all the characters, and adding the spin of marriage to that is caramel to my chocolate. Decadent and delicious!

Gideon Nav/Harrowhark Nonagesimus

Prompt: Modern Setting AU | Gideon and Harrow are roommates for so long that they one day discover that they’re married via common law. Instead of freaking out (okay, they can freak out too), they start to take advantage of the tax benefits. Who gets to drop their shitty insurance and gain a fabulous new plan? Who initiates the elaborate talk of estate planning? Does one or the other want to hold a party to celebrate? And what if one of them gets a huge inheritance or trust fund upon proof of marriage?

You are free to have them catch romantic feelings, but I also think it would be neat if they remained platonic life partners throughout their marriage. That’s a dynamic I don’t see very often, and it would be sweet to see it explored.

Prompt: Her Divine Highness Gideon AU | Everyone has their own version of the Ball AU from Harrow the Ninth, so I would love to see that twisted into a marriage contest instead! Does John rig the contest so the only winner would have received help from Gideon herself? Does Gideon join the contestants to receive her own hand in marriage? Does Gideon undermine the whole thing to spite John? I’ll leave those details up to you!

Prompt: Harrow Nova AU | This canon AU is rife with angst as Harrow tries to be something to the House that rejected her. So what would be the most she can offer her House? A profitable marriage, of course! I would love to see Harrow Nova’s marriage contract offered in an auction and her reaction both to how much it sold for and who made the purchase. Or perhaps her marriage is arranged to either Reverend Daughter Gideon or Camilla Hect. Whichever you think would hurt the most would be glorious.

Harrowhark Nongesimus/Camilla Hect

Tamsyn Muir mentioned these two possibly being betrothed once and I am still not over it. They would be so stiff with each other! So awkward. I would love to have that explored. Do they have a competence kink? Do they struggle to find ways to communicate? Are they comforted by the other being an old soul like them? Do they decide they will never get physical and develop a queer platonic partnership? Go loud with this one.

No specific prompts for these two, so feel free to take one or two of the additional tags and apply them! Or use one of the prompts above for Gideon/Harrow!

Gideon Nav/Ianthe Tridentarius

These bitches be horrible and I am here for the mess. I think Gideon and Ianthe had fantastic chemistry at the end of Harrow the Ninth and would love to see more fic of them being complete dickbags to each other. Only to realize that oops? maybe there is a fine line between hate and love after all! No specific prompts, so whatever you do will be delicious.

Harrwowhark Nonagesimus/Ianthe Tridentarius

Ianthe is horrible, yes, but so is Harrowhark in her own right. I kinda liked that Harrow was indeed attracted to Ianthe, try as she might to deny it. Given time and better circumstances, Harrow might finally succumb to Ianthe's attempts at flirting.

Another pull for me with this pairing is the idea of attraction starting out purely physical. It's just sex and lust at first, so when does it morph into something more emotionally intimate? How long do either Harrow or Ianthe fight that? What's the catalyst that makes them admit that they really do like each other? More intriguingly, do they admit they caught feelings to themselves first or second? Think about it.

Gideon Nav/Harrwowhark Nonagesimus/Ianthe Tridentarius

If you thought Gideanthe was a mess, wait until you find these guys! Ianthe contaminates Gideon/Harrow, Harrow contaminates Gideon/Ianthe, and Gideon contaminates Ianthe/Harrow. I like to think that any two of these would be dysfunctional and toxic, but adding the third would smooth things out and make things more healthy for everyone involved. What could be better than these three finding an uncertain balance between everyone?

Arcane League of Legends

I was drawn to the women of Arcane because each and every one of them is not perfect. This is a show where there are no defined “good guys” and “bad guys” unless you squint and prepare a 5-paragraph school essay. Each character is part of a larger, disastrous system. No one is innocent. Fandom likes to remove that complicated depth, but it’s the reason I fell in love with the show in the first place. My catnip, if you will.

Other things that are my catnip? Enemies-to-lovers to an insane degree. Take a character from one extreme and put them in close quarters with their complete opposite. Vi hating Caitlyn because Caitlyn is an enforcer. Caitlyn mistrusting Sevika because she’s the number two in a notorious criminal organization. Sevika seeing Vi’s plight of revenge and deciding to nip it in the bud instead of letting it blossom.

Seriously. So good.

Vi/Caitlyn Kiramman

On the screen, I love the slow and organic way Vi’s and Caitlyn’s relationship develops. I haven’t been seeing a whole lot of that dynamic reflected in the fanfic I’ve read, so I would love to still see more exploration of that initial mistrust/animonisity turn into a slow burn ride-or-die. Emphasis on the animosity. These two started out at different points—Caitlyn not trusting Vi and Vi outright hating Caitlyn—and they grew closer through empathy. I get chills when I think about it.

I’ve been seeing a lot of different AUs of these two, and would not mind if you did something creative on that front. No pressure though, as the canon world of Arcane is vibrant and full of life too!

Sevika/Vi

I love Sevika and I think she would be wonderfully evil with Vi, Cait, or both. I picture Sevika as having an intimidating presence but being a very satisfying and attentive lover. She totes tops.

The animosity between Sevika and Vi is rooted in their shared history. I would love to see them accidentally move past that, preferably through getting to know the other a bit better. Perhaps Sevika becomes less of a monolith or obstacle that Vi has to scale. Or maybe Vi proves herself to Sevika in some way and is no longer dismissed as a child. Does the age gap affect their relationship?

This ship is so good. I mostly just want more of these guys in the world.

Sevika/Caitlyn Kiramman

These two didn’t interact in the show, but that doesn't stop me! How do you think Caitlyn reacts to a presence like Sevika? How do you think Sevika sees Caitlyn? Is Caitlyn just another enforcer to bribe? Is Sevika just another chembaron buried in corruption? Is there an undeniable animal attraction between them regardless of their feelings? How does Sevika disrupt Caitlyn’s naive worldview? Answers to these and more will be answered, maybe, by you!

Sevika/Vi/Caitlyn

In my headcanon (and my currently ongoing longfic), Vi and Caitlyn are an item, and Sevika is the sexy older woman they’re both attracted to (and maybe gets added to sexytimes sometimes). In a similar manner, I would love if Sevika somehow inserts herself in an established relationship, either by marrying either Vi or Caitlyn for convenience/legal reasons but Vi and Caitlyn are already in a committed relationship. Bigamy! I did not give them any of the bigamist additional tags, so feel free to use your imagination for this awful (affectionate) threesome.

Star Trek: The Next Generation

Deanna Troi/Beverly Crusher

I did not go into this exchange expecting to want this fandom or this couple, but every unprompted gift of them I have received has been a delight. I don’t think I will ever grow old or tired of them. I guess that’s what I like about them as a couple: there is nothing that would obviously drive them apart, so they fit together like butter on toast, cheese on macaroni, insert third poetic food analogy here.

I gave this pairing more of the “crack” tags that I enjoy simply because I fully expect the Enterprise to encounter these types of situations. Please have as much fun as you want. Just in case you need explicit permission: please go off the rails and lean into the crack. :)

Sailor Moon (Anime & Manga)

Seiya Kou/Usagi Tsukino

I don’t know, man, I just think they’re neat. Okay, let me qualify that some more.

I like how Usagi is attracted to Seiya but doesn’t want to admit it. I like how Seiya is forward and picks up on Usagi’s attraction signals, but listens when she says “no” with her words. I like how, if circumstances were different, Usagi and Seiya might have been a thing.

I’m not a fan of cheating, so please work around that however you see fit (except for death). Perhaps Usagi and Mamoru broke up. Perhaps he just doesn’t exist! Perhaps he ran away with that one dude from the flower asteroid in the R movie and no one has heard from him since. Please don’t outright kill him though. That hits a little too close to home for me at the moment, and not in a way I would enjoy.

If I had my way, I would not add any additional tags to this request because I feel the relationships themselves is all the prompt you need. But since that is not the case, these are the additional tags I like seeing:
